Due to the bulky size of burls, they will not fit into a flat rate envelope. I must calculate a
box price, however, if the actual shipping is less, I will issue a refund for the amount over.

Manzanita is formed from the root system of the tree. Each piece is unique and
will add depth and dimension to your art. Create an oceanside Mermaid
grotto...a woodland Fairy throne... a knarly old tree where magical creatures
dwell...a Dragon's lair?

There are no limits to what your imagination can do with a burl. You can add
corals, moss, pebbles or anything you like. It's natural, it's OOAK!

Manzanita is a natural item, not all surface areas are suitable to properly sit a sculpture. This is easily corrected by using Apoxie Sculpt
to fill in gaps or to build a "seat" for a better fit.

Apoxie adheres perfectly and can be painted with acrylics to match the natural color of the Manzanita.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

To attach coral, shells or other hard objects, I recommend using Bronze Apoxie
Sculpt. Press enough into the area where your object will go and blend the Apoxie
around the object to make it look as if it was always there. You can use Liquitex
Acrylic paints to match the color to the burl color.

For moss or other softer decor, you can use FabriTac or any quick setting adhesive
that dries clear.

To add glitters, Micro beads, Fairy Glamour...I recommend using Liquitex Heavy
Gloss Gel or Sakura 3D lacquer. Keep in mind Sakura is a liquid and can run, so
only use a small amount and spread it around and sprinkle the sparkle!
