Sculpey Gloss Glaze is new formula and is not as thick or clear as in the
past. I do not recommend this product for glossing doll eyes. It will not
produce a thick enough coating and may run along the edge of the eye.

|Square Rod & Tube and Tube & Tube
Square rod and tube is ideal for sculptures that must be stationary. If the pose of the sculpture is designed in such a way that turning
would not be desirable, then square tubing would be the solution for that issue. Sculptures that appear to fly or swim can sometimes
roll with regular round tubing. Square tubing eliminates any turning. It stays where you put it! Depending on the pose, this
combination will work on most any size sculpture up to 18 inches

Easy to work with than a soldering iron. Heating up to 850 °F in under a minute, the Stencil Maker
features a special bent tip that produces a fine, clean cut. Requiring very little pressure, it leaves a
beaded edge that resists tearing.
Works perfectly for making delicate cuts in
iridescent film wings.
The Stencil Maker comes with a pre-attached
curved tip and ready to use.
Features That Work
• Little pressure required
• Handle stays cool
• Heats up quickly

This is a wonderful option for heat control. It is not required to
operate the Stencil Burner, but can add versitility for other specialty
tips that do not require full heat. (Other tips coming soon.)
Different films melt at different temperatures.
|A word about Stencil burners...
Years ago, I used this same tool when making stencils for my
sandblast glass art. The tip allows for small detail work. This tool
gets hot enough to cut through thick mylar and acetate films like a hot
knife through butter. Using it for iridescent film wings is a natural.
Most soldering irons do not have the fine, curved tip and are bulkier.
The tip is farther away, thicker and straight. The Hot Tool tip is has a
super fine end and the curve allows your wrist will be in a more
Having used both tools, a soldering iron and this stencil burner, I
prefer the stencil burner. My hand and wrist do not get fatigued.
